Terms of Service for CallerAPI

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the CallerAPI Caller ID API (hereinafter referred to as "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

  1. The Service provides real-time access to publicly available information associated with phone numbers, including but not limited to caller identification data.
  2. The Service aggregates data from various sources and does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information provided.

3. API Access and Usage

  1. API Key: To access the Service, you will be provided with an API key. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of this key.
  2. Rate Limits: The Service is subject to rate limits, which will be specified in the API documentation. Exceeding these limits may result in temporary or permanent suspension of your access.
  3. Prohibited Uses: You may not:
    1. Use the Service for any illegal purpose
    2. Attempt to reverse engineer the Service
    3. Share your API key or access credentials with third parties
    4. Use the Service in a manner that could damage, disable, or impair our servers or networks

4. Data Usage and Privacy

  1. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including data protection laws.

7. Termination

  1. We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach the Terms.
  2. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

  1. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied.
  2. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
  3. In no event shall CallerAPI be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold CallerAPI and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.

10. Modifications to the Service and Terms

  1. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service with or without notice.
  2. We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on our website. By continuing to use the Service after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
