CNAM lookup API that names the caller and flags spam in one call
CNAM lookup API from CallerAPI returns the caller name, a live spam score and the complaint evidence for any number in one GET request. Names come from business listings in 195 countries, not a 15-character US string. Add ?hlr=true and the same response carries the LRN, OCN and port status. One credit per lookup, on plans from $25 a month.

A name alone does not tell you to pick up. The response pairs the caller name with the reasons to trust it or block it.
Caller name
Business name, industry, city and country. A verified flag shows when the business claimed its listing. Residential numbers return no name, so no personal data leaves the API.
Spam verdict
The spam score, the complaint count, and the subject and date of each complaint. The same verdict powers the spam call blocking API.
Network data on request
Add ?hlr=true for the LRN, OCN, SPID, line type and port date. The fields are listed on the LRN lookup API page.
More than 15 characters
Classic CNAM is a short name string from North American carrier databases. It cannot tell a bank from a scammer who spoofs the bank. This response names the business and shows the complaint record, so your platform can show the name and warn on fraud in the same screen.
